Garmin Forerunner 405, 405CX and 410 Sport Watches Have Battery Saving Features

There are many features to consider when buying a sports watch, but perhaps none is as important as the battery life per charge of your sports watch. You do not want to be out all day running, hiking or cycling only to find your sports watch has no power left and is not functioning.  You also do not want your GPS to fail you in unfamiliar places.

The Garmin Forerunner 405, 405CX and 410 Sport Watches are better at saving battery power and hassle than most sport watches.  How?  They have built in power saver modes. You want a sport watch that you can turn off the GPS when you are not in use or running indoors.  When the GPS alone is turned off, the battery of the Garmin Forerunner 400 series can last two weeks.
